Adam L. Toth was born in Budapest, Hungary. He began his training at the Hungarian Dance Academy in 1989, and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors and Masters in the History of Art .He also attended the North Carolina School of the Arts from 1996 to 1997, the Royal Ballet School in London for the summer of 1997, the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C. in 2000.
Mr. Toth danced with the Hungarian National Ballet from 1998 to 2000 and with the Carolina Ballet from 2000 to 2001. Mr. Toth joined The National Ballet of Canada in 2001 to 2009.
In 2009, Mr. Toth accepted an Associate Professorship at the Taipei National University of the Arts, Graduate Institute of Dance Performance. During his Professional dance career, Mr. Toth has taught ballet classes all over the world: 2004 – 2008 Architanz Ballet studio, Tokyo; 2005 Dance Place, USA; 2006 Ballet Sophia, Tokyo; 2007 Pro Arte Dance Company, Canada; 2008 South Eastern School of Ballet, USA; 2010 Hungarian National Ballet, Hungary and Universal Ballet, Korea. Since 2011, Mr. Toth has been a teaching ballet at George Brown College and is also a resident Ballet Master with Ballet Jorgen Canada.
